I think that Thomas ‘Tommo’ Peaceful is a really interesting narrator. I read it when I was very young and it really spoke to me in a lot of ways. From a personal point of view, I would say that most of my moral compass has actually come from this book. I think this book is really interesting because although it is a children’s book, it explores some really incredible themes and the disability representation in the book is really thought-through and very sympathetic.Īs a book it’s aged really well considering is now nearly 20 years old.
